College Access

A college education is available to anyone willing to prepare themselves by:

  • Studying and working hard in all of your classes
  • Participating in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, teams, performing arts, and student organizations
  • Performing community service and/or volunteer work

A great way to get a head-start on a college education is by taking Honors, Advanced Placement (AP) and Concurrent Enrollment (CE) classes while in high school.

Obtaining a college degree involves a substantial financial commitment but there are resources available. The Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a good place to begin.
